Once you have signed up for a Securely account, you can request money from anyone, anywhere in Australia. Simply enter their email address, and the amount you wish to receive and press ‘Send’; it’s that easy.
Once you are ready to buy or sell any item on Facebook Marketplace or Gumtree, create a free Securely account to send or receive your money. It takes less than a minute to sign up.
Once you have a Securely account, enter the email or mobile number of the person you wish to transact with (the person you have sold or brought something off) and then follow the prompts. No need to share your financial data!
Enter the cost of the item that you and the buyer have agreed on.
Your buyer will get an email notification explaining how to send money safely, simply and quickly. Buyer then submits secure payment to Securely.
Funds are held in an independent bank account (in Escrow) to protect you - the buyer and seller until transaction is complete.

Escrow is a legal concept describing a financial agreement whereby an asset or money is held by a third party on behalf of two other parties that are in the process of completing a transaction.
Escrow provides protection during transactions for both the buyer and seller. Money isn’t realised to the seller until goods or services are received.
We are free for any transaction up to $5000. For transactions over $5000 its just one small fee of $49.
All you need to send money to the another person is there mobile or email address and we do the rest. There is no need for them to be on securely.
