Sellsecurely.com was created because we reckon Aussies don’t deserve to be scammed. Everyone should be able to send money safely when buying and selling privately online. 

Unfortunately, with the rise of online marketplaces, scams have become commonplace, so we created a tool that would stamp out the ability to scam. Sellsecurely.com offers equal protection to all parties involved in transactions.

We protect both the buyer and the seller equally, eliminating any risk of conducting transactions with unknown parties.

We are also registered as an independent remittance provider with AUSTRAC under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act (Cwth) 2006. Registration Number IND100809706-001.

AUSTRAC (Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre) is the Australian Government agency responsible for detecting, deterring and disrupting criminal abuse of the financial system to protect the community from serious and organised crime. We pride ourselves on being secure. Our systems are encrypted using industry best practice including AWS RDS AES-256 encryption.

We provide protection during transactions for both the buyer and seller. Money isn’t realised to the seller until goods or services are received. 

Unfortunately, not at this stage; we only do Australian transfers.

Securely Fees: 

Amount transferring:

  • 0-$5,000 : Free $0
  • $5,000+: $49 
  • Credit Card Fees: 1.75% +A$0.30 

 

Paypal Fees: 

  • Bank account: No cost
  • Credit Card Fees: 2.6% + A0.30 

Costs with Paypal come in when withdrawing your money from the PayPal account. You must pay to move your money from the PayPal wallet to your bank account. These are the following fees: 

  • 3% plus the following:  
  • Depending on transfer amount: Minimum fee 0.25AUD | Max Fee $10.00 

Example: Used Car: Brought for $10,000 

Securely: 

  • Transfer: $49 
  • Credit Card Fee: $175.30 
  • Sell Securely Total: $49  
  • If using credit card: $224.30 
  • No cost to transfer into your bank account.  

 

Paypal: 

  • Transfer: No cost to receive into PayPal account. 
  • Credit Card Fee: $260.30 

Then to transfer into your bank account: 

  • $300 + $10 = $310 
  • PayPal Total: $310  
  • If using credit card: $570.30 

Using Securely you will save min:

Direct Transfer: $261

If using Credit Card: $346

The person you are requesting money from can send funds directly from their Securely Account or set one up if they don’t have one.

Yes. We use stripe which is a secure credit card payment platform and the fees are:

1.75% +A$0.30

You only need an email address to sign up and you’ll be required to create an account.

You’ll be required to enter your name, date of birth and address so we can confirm you are who you say you are.

Using Pay Ewe.

It’s easy. Once you have an account, go to ‘Create a Transaction’ on the Securely Dashboard. From here enter the buyers information, the amount of sale and hit ‘Send to buyer’. We then request the money from your buyer. 

You don’t need to send the buyer your personal information. 

You can pay directly to the Securely banking platform listed on the email sent to you. This will ensure your funds are safe until you choose to release them to the seller.

Paying directly to Securely ensures your money is safe in ‘Escrow’ and guarantees the seller of payment.  Once you’ve received the goods, we can then release the money. 

This gives the seller peace of mind that they will get paid and that you are who you say you are. The seller does not get paid until you confirm you are satisfied with the goods. 

Your buyer’s funds have been received and are held in Escrow, in the Securely Bank platform ready for you once the sale is completed.

Upon completing of the sale, the seller selects this option to notify their buyer that the sale is completed and are requesting payment for the goods.

Once all is finalised with the buyer, funds can be released immediately. Please note that depending on your bank, funds may take 24 hours to arrive.

You sure can. Securely uses Escrow to hold your money, meaning it protects both the buyer and seller. If you don’t get the goods or the service isn’t what it was meant to be you get your money back. You can cancel the send at any time.

You will see it in your bank account from Securely Holdings.
